Arlie Barnard of Tulsa passed away peacefully on May 21, 2012, after a long illness. He leaves behind a large and loving family as a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter Christina and survived by his wife Sabine, daughter Alicia, son Grover and wife Mary, daughters Susanne and Theresa, Jennifer and husband Brad. Grandsons Christian and wife Erika, Michael, Matt and wife Ashley, Alex, Jack, Liam, Nicky and granddaughters Camille and Analea. Greatgranddaughters Nya and Remi. Arlie was born in 1933 in Muskogee, OK, graduated from Tulsa University after serving in the Air Force as a trumpeter in the military band. His sales management career took him to various states. In 1972 he returned to Oklahoma, joining Lawson Products until his retirement. Arlie’s passion was his family, flying airplanes, catching fish at Lake Fort Gibson and visiting his many friends there. He will be missed so dearly and remain in our hearts always. Services 4 PM, Friday, May 25, 2012, at All Souls Unitarian Church. This obituary was published in the Tulsa World on 5/24/2012.
