A vacant house was damaged in a suspicious fire Monday afternoon, firefighters said.
Three rooms and the attic of the house in the 1300 block of North Tacoma Avenue were heavily engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived shortly before 2 p.m., Capt. Mike Ward said. Firefighters extinguished the flames in about 10 minutes.
The house appeared to be vacant and no one was injured, he said.
Fire investigators were determining the cause Monday but Ward said the blaze was presumed suspicious.
