LMFAO brings generic music, palpable fun to BOK Center

While their music isn't special, LMFAO turned the BOK Center into a giant, nonstop dance party Wednesday night.
Although it's called the "Sorry for Party Rocking" tour —- for their most recent, eponymous album —- the only thing the duo of RedFoo and SkyBlu seemed to be sorry about was not being sorry.
Say what you want about the music, but even the most hardened hater would find it hard not to have fun.
And fun is what this show and this band are about. No matter how many times I shook my head and laughed in amazement at what was happening in front of me, I left with a smile. The energy was palpable, and it was fun.
The music, however, was generic pop, with the emphasis on generic.
The songs weren't particularly subtle or creative. Just about every song had the word "party" in it.
What was stunning was how young some of the fans were, and their parents sitting next to them, in some cases. We're talking single digits, dancing to profanity-laced, sexually overt lyrics.
With songs like "I'm Not a Whore (But I Like to Do It)," if any of those parents had not had the birds and the bees conversation yet, it would have been an awkward car ride home.
