Evans to sing national anthem

One of country music's brightest stars, singer and songwriter Sara Evans will perform the U.S. national anthem in front of a global audience on Thursday, prior to Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat at the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
The performance will be televised live 7:53 p.m. Thursday on ABC in the U.S. and to a worldwide audience in 215 countries and territories, an email from the NBA confirmed.
Evans is an Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association award-winning singer/songwriter and has sold nearly six million albums in her career.
