Fox is following NBC's lead and premiering most of its new series outside of the fall season’s official premiere week of Sept. 24.

The network will debut its Monday, Wednesday and Thursday lineups two weeks in advance. Meaning fans will see the season premieres of "The X Factor," "Glee" and "Bones" plus the debut of the new series "The Mob Doctor" early.

"Kitchen Nightmares" will hold the 7 p.m. Friday time slot until Kiefer Sutherland's "Touch" returns at the end of October. During premiere week, Fox will introduce its new comedy Tuesday with two episodes of "New Girl" leading into the new series "Ben & Kate" and "The Mindy Project."
