MTV goes retro with summer series

MTV is going retro.
The popular cable channel will air every episode of "The Hills," selected episodes of "Daria" and the first two seasons of "Laguna Hills" on weekday mornings over the next six weeks, the network announced Wednesday.
The lineup, dubbed "retro mania," will air from 8-11 a.m. on cable 39 and will feature guest stars acting as hosts and providing commentary.
Stephen Colletti host "Laguna Beach" while Audrina Patridge, Lo Bosworth, Stephanie Pratt and MTV's LaylaKayleigh will provide commentary on "The Hills." Nikki Glaser and Sara Schaefer, hosts of the upcoming series "Nikki & Sara Show," will provide "Daria" commentary.
Daria,” a spinoff of "Beavis and Butt-Head," features an “acerbic, bespectacled teen with zero tolerance for trendiness.” It launched in 1997 and aired for five seasons.
MTV is also promoting the re-airings with the hashtag #RetroMTV.

June 25 - June 29
