Texas running back commits to Cowboys
Oklahoma State has secured a commitment from running back Corion Webster of Atlanta, Texas.
Webster, who earlier had narrowed his choices to OSU, Arkansas and TCU, indicated to GoPokes.com that he was eager to commit because he was tired of fielding questions about where he will be attending college.
Webster (5-foot-11, 190 pounds) ran for more than 1,800 yards as a junior last season. He is ranked 35th among running back prospects in the Class of 2013 by Scout.com, which designated him as a three-star recruit.
Rivals.com ranks Webster 12th nationally among all- purpose backs and 77th among all prospects in Texas.

Former Razorback recruit switches to Sooners
Arkansas' loss became Oklahoma's gain Wednesday when former Razorbacks recruit Austin Bennett switched to the Sooners.
The three-star wide receiver from Manvel, Texas, verbally committed after visiting the OU campus, Internet recruiting services reported. This comes two months after Bennett decommitted from Arkansas in the wake of Bobby Petrino's ouster as head coach.
"It was really about the tradition and history of the football team," Bennett told ESPN's SoonerNation.com. "There aren't many teams that can compare to OU. I love the offense they run and how family-oriented it feels here."
Bennett becomes the Sooners' 11th commitment of their current recruiting class. He is the second wide receiver to pledge to OU in two weeks, joining Jenks' Jordan Smallwood, as the Sooners work to overhaul that position.
Bennett, listed at 6-foot-0 and 170 pounds, caught 41 passes for 767 yards and seven touchdowns as a Manvel junior last year. His team made it to the Texas Class 4A Div. II championship before falling to three-time winner Aledo.
Other Big 12 Conference schools reportedly on Bennett's radar included TCU, West Virginia and Kansas State.
