Cool off on the water slides at the Tulsa Zoo every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Guests at Tulsa Zoo, 6421 E. 36th St. North, can splash on Bounce Pro inflatable water slides to beat the heat.

Starting at 8 a.m., guests can play on multiple slides, including a double slip n' slide. Admission to the Big Chill is $5 per person for an all-day pass. Members can purchase Big Chill summer memberships for $20 per person.

And for all those early birds who want to avoid the hot afternoon sun, the Tulsa Zoo opens its gates at 7 a.m. daily during the summer. Don't forget to head over to the Helmerich Sea Lion Cove to check out demonstrations or watch the sea lions Dorsey and Briney play in their own waterfall.

Early Bird hours and Big Chill activities will run through Sept. 3.
