Zoie Mae (Honeycutt) Gudgel passed on June 5, 2012, at the age of 98. She was born August 14, 1913 in Hugo, OK, daughter of Leroy and Ida Mae Muldrew Honeycutt. She and her family moved to Tulsa in 1923, where she met and later married her childhood sweetheart, Thomas Horace Gudgel November 29 1932. Her beloved Tom passed away in 1979. Zoie enjoyed family, pets and hobbies. She passed away peacefully at her home in Colorado with her son at her bedside. She is survived by her two sons, Tom H. Gudgel, Jr. and wife Becky, John H. Gudgel and wife Patty, six grandsons and their spouses: Tom and Lesley, Troy and Tracey, Trent and Lori, Judd and Laura, John and Jeff Gudgel, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandsons, Braden of Tulsa and Thom of Lyon, France. A private memorial service celebrating her life will be held in early July, 2012 in Tulsa This obituary was published in the Tulsa World on 6/24/2012.
