Owasso man arrested on child-rape charges

An Owasso man who is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old child was arrested Friday, jail records show.
Juan Manuel Sanchez, 62, was booked into Tulsa Jail on charges, filed Wednesday, of first-degree rape by instrumentation and two counts of forcible oral sodomy of a victim under the age of 16.
The crimes are alleged to have occurred over a six-week period beginning April 1, Tulsa County District Court filings show.
A warrant was issued for Sanchez's arrest on Wednesday and he was arrested just before 4 p.m. Friday by the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office, according to the Tulsa Jail's website.
