BROKEN ARROW - Three teenagers were arrested Sunday on accusations that they robbed two women outside a hotel, records show.

Alfred Reed and Kewon Marico Grundy, both 18, and a 17-year-old boy are accused of taking purses from the women about 4:30 a.m. that morning in the parking lot of Canterbury Inn, 1301 N. Elm Place, arrest reports show.

The women told police that a car pulled next to them as they left their vehicle and that two of its three occupants got out and pointed guns at them.

While speaking to a police officer at a nearby QuikTrip about 6 a.m., the women spotted the robbers' car passing by and began shouting, "That's them!" the reports say.

The officer followed the car and pulled it over on the Broken Arrow Expressway near Albany Street (61st Street), according to the reports. Police reportedly found a gun, cash and the women's belongings inside.

The teenagers were booked into the Broken Arrow Jail on complaints of first-degree robbery and possession of a firearm in commission of a felony. They were transferred to the Tulsa Jail and are being held with bail set at $110,000 each.

Marico and Reed are charged in separate cases with possessing drugs with intent to distribute in connection with incidents May 30 and June 6, records show.
