Softball: OU's Ricketts gets win in USA victory

The USA Softball National Team, which includes Oklahoma standouts Keilani Ricketts and Jessica Shults, opened the Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship with a 5-4, nine-inning win over Venezuela on Wednesday in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.
Ricketts earned the win after entering the game in a relief role while Shults got the start for the United States behind the plate and finished the game with two plate appearances.
