Actress Kristin Chenoweth has been released from the hospital following an injury sustained on set of "The Good Wife."

"Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes," according to a statement released by Chenoweth's representative Thursday.

The Broken Arrow native was reportedly acting in a scene with series star Josh Charles Wednesday when a lighting scaffold was hit by a wind gust and collapsed, striking her on the head. She then fell onto the concrete, hitting her head again and was unconscious for a time, a witness reported to tmz.com.

She was reportedly treated at the scene by the show's paramedic until the New York Fire Department arrived. She was then transported to Brooklyn's Bellevue Hospital.

Chenoweth has signed on for a recurring role as a political reporter on "The Good Wife" and will appear in its fourth season premiere September 30 on CBS, channel 6.

In this video from "You've Got... Kristin Chenoweth" the actress talks about her fall on the set of "Glee."
