Two men robbed a restaurant at gunpoint early Thursday, Tulsa police said.
An employee at Tortilleria Milagro, 6314 S. Peoria Ave., heard someone banging on the door shortly before 5 a.m. and thought other employees were coming to work, police said.
When he opened the door, the robbers flashed a gun and knife and demanded money. The employee said he had no money, so the robbers forced him to open the cash register, police said.
The men fled east into River Glenn Apartments, 1379 E. 63rd St., police said.
They were described as Asian, with one wearing a purple T-shirt and the other wearing a black T-shirt.
Anyone with information about them is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or visit tulsaworld.com/crimestoppers.
