Woman charged after bacon grease poured on boyfriend

BARTLESVILLE – A pregnant Bartlesville woman is charged with domestic assault and battery on an allegation that she poured a pan of hot bacon grease on her boyfriend.
Washington County Associate District Judge Russell Vaclaw set bail at $7,500 for Amanda Rachelle Olsen, 18, and ordered her to have no contact with the victim, who is the father of her unborn child, according to court records.
Olsen, who reportedly became angry at the couple’s home in the 5600 Block of Hazel Road on Saturday, initially tried to throw a dish at the victim, but he grabbed the dish to stop her, a police affidavit states. She then grabbed a pan full of hot grease and poured it on her boyfriend’s left shoulder, the affidavit alleges.
The victim received severe burns from the top of his shoulder down his arm to his bicep area, the affidavit states.
