Letter to the Editor: Shameful behavior

By invitation, Mitt Romney spoke at the NAACP convention. First members of the audience booed and hissed at their guest for truthfully stating his political positions no differently than he has stated on his campaign trail. If that wasn't a big enough display of their incredibly bad manners, the NAACP and some liberals alike now publicly declare that it is somehow Romney's bad actions for accepting the invitation and stating his positions that were already well known.
Even the Tulsa World chose to print a Bruce Plante cartoon perpetuating acceptance of this group's otherwise shameful behavior by suggesting Romney sought that reaction.
Why any American would want to identify himself or herself with such low-class people is beyond me.
