MUSKOGEE — Closing arguments are set for Friday morning in the first-degree murder trial of a man accused of opening fire at Muskogee's Arrowhead Mall in 2010.
Attorneys are scheduled to present their arguments at 9 a.m. in the case of Dondray Fowler, who's charged with first-degree murder and assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
The case will then go to the jury.
The Muskogee Phoenix reports that Fowler's aunt and probation officer testified Thursday as the defense wrapped up its case.
Fowler did not testify.
He's charged in the shooting death of 17-year-old Jarrod Reed. Fowler's attorneys said he was acting in self-defense, but the prosecution claims the shooting was intentional.
