HOUSTON - Fired Oklahoma State baseball coach Frank Anderson has been named pitching coach for the Houston Cougars.
Coach Todd Whitting made the announcement Friday.
Anderson had led the Cowboys since 2003 before his dismissal in May. He was 329-208, reaching the NCAA tournament six times and coming within one win of the College World Series in the 2007 super regionals. OSU missed the NCAA tournament two of the last three seasons.
