Bristow man killed in Creek County crash

A Bristow man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Creek County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
Killed was Johnny Lanor McGinnis, 40.
He was driving a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse south on Oklahoma 48, about 2 miles south of Oklahoma 33, about 11:15 p.m., when the vehicle went off the highway to the right, hit a culvert and causing it to overturn twice, troopers said.
McGinnis was pronounced dead at the scene, the OHP said.
He was wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the collision was alcohol-related, the OHP said.
