Firefighters are battling a grass fire near 131st Street and Sheridan Road.

The fire has been contained to a pile of burning debris, which firefighters are trying to keep from spreading, officials said.

No structures were damaged in the fire, which burned about 30 acres.

Several companies have responded, Tulsa Fire Department Captain Stan May said.

Firefighters are being rotated in and out to make sure they are fresh to battle the blaze, he said.

Firefighters will be on the scene for several hours to make sure the fire doesn't spread from the contained area of debris, officials said.
