Man hospitalized after motorcycle-car crash in Owasso

OWASSO -- A man was taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition after his motorcycle collided with a car Tuesday in Owasso.
The incident occurred at about 10:45 a.m. at the intersection of East 76th Street North and South Cedar, Owasso Police Department Sgt. Nick Boatman said. He said investigators believe he was wearing a helmet.
The driver of the passenger car was treated for minor injuries and released at the scene, Boatman said.
East 76th Street North between South Dogwood and South Birch was shut down for several hours to investigate the collision but has since been reopened, Boatman said.
