Bail set for Blanchard man charged in the death of his pregnant wife

OKLAHOMA CITY - Bail was set at $100,000 Tuesday for a Blanchard man who is charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the death of his pregnant wife, Jaymie Adams.
Oklahoma County Special Judge Fred Doak approved the bail amount for Justin Adams, 25, who has been jailed without bail since his arrest in February.
Adams' preliminary hearing, set for Friday, was rescheduled until Oct. 19. Prosecutors requested the continuance to allow time for further investigation, according to a court document.
Prosecutors in the case declined to comment. District Attorney David Prater did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
