Woman jumps from pickup, dies in Delaware County

A woman was run over and killed Wednesday after she jumped from a moving pickup truck in Delaware County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Linda Jane Vaughan, 58, of Kansas, Okla., leaped from the passenger side of the 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 and was run over by a back wheel about 7:10 p.m. on County Road 567 just north of U.S. 412, troopers said.
She and the driver, David Leon Vaughan, 56, of Kansas, Okla., had been arguing, and both smelled like alcohol, troopers said. Another passenger was unharmed.
The vehicle was traveling 15-20 mph, the OHP reported.
