Letter to the Editor: Too much power?

I voted for Gov. Mary Fallin and now I believe she has too much power regarding so-called state property, unless it would be an emergency.

Let’s trade off; we smokers will not smoke on so-called state property if she will stop collecting the cigarette tax and enjoying its benefits.

And, on another subject: When students complete the 12th grade, that is not the end of their learning, only one-fourth of their education. The system we have now is destroying the confidence of teachers, principals and superintendents in Oklahoma. State Superintendent of Public Instruction Janet Barresi and Gov. Fallin are nice ladies, so they should talk to Rep. Jerry McPeak, D-Warner, and Rep. Ed Cannaday, D-Porum, and get some facts to work with.
