A man was arrested Thursday on accusations that he raped a woman and videotaped the act, Tulsa police said.

Maurice Grayson, 39, was living with the woman at an apartment in the 1200 block of East 63rd Street South, Sgt. Mark Mears said. He is accused of raping her about 2 a.m. Wednesday.

"This was a domestic situation where he had her intimidated," Mears said.

Grayson drove from the apartment as police prepared to serve a search warrant there about 5 p.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report.

He initially refused to stop for police but pulled over shortly after, the report says.

Police found a gun magazine in the car and a gun of the same brand and caliber along a nearby street, according to the report.

Grayson was booked into the Tulsa Jail without bail on complaints of first-degree rape, sodomy, domestic abuse, using surveillance equipment in commission of a felony, obstructing officers and possessing a firearm after a felony conviction.

Grayson has drug convictions from 1991 and 1997.
