Carrie set to perform on 'Today'

Checotah native Carrie Underwood will perform on the "Today" show Summer Concert Series in August as the morning show plans a full week of outdoor concerts following the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Underwood will perform Aug. 15 on NBC's "Today" show.
Soon after her appearance on "Today," Underwood will continue preparing for her third headline arena tour across North America. Underwood's "Blown Away" tour rolls through Tulsa on Nov. 21 at the BOK Center.
