OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma County prosecutors have declined to file charges against a state Corrections Department probation officer accused of sexually assaulting a developmentally disabled boy.
Robert Naugle, 33, was accused of sodomizing the boy during visits to Naugle's house when the boy was 16, according to a search warrant affidavit for Naugle's residence.
Midwest City police investigated the allegations and presented results of the investigation to the district attorney's office, which declined to prosecute because of “insufficient evidence.”
“We were not able to corroborate enough details of the crime as alleged to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt,” First Assistant District Attorney Scott Rowland said.
