OKLAHOMA CITY — Police in Oklahoma City are searching for a man who reportedly posed as an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper, pulled over a teenager and searched her car.

Oklahoma City television station KWTV reports the incident happened Tuesday on Interstate 40. The teen told police she pulled over after seeing a car with flashing red and blue lights.

Authorities said the man told the teenager she was driving 5 miles above the speed limit and then searched her car.

Authorities said the man also put the teenager in handcuffs and placed her in the back of his car, a black Dodge Charger with "Oklahoma Highway Patrol" written on the side.

The man released the teen and drove off. Authorities said his vehicle was not issued by the highway patrol.
