Oklahoma State basketball player Philip Jurick was arrested Saturday night in Stillwater on complaints of drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Campus police took Jurick, 22, into custody about 7 p.m., a Payne County Jail spokesman said. He was released about 1:20 a.m. on personal recognizance.

Additional details were not immediately available. Coach Travis Ford had no comment.

A senior center, the 6-foot-11 Jurick averaged 4.9 rebounds and 1.6 points last season. He also was the Cowboys' second-leading blocker.

Jurick is scheduled to appear in Payne County District Court on Aug. 20 in a separate case. He was charged in June with driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor. It is unknown whether Jurick will be allowed to travel to Spain on Wednesday, when the team leaves for a 10-day preseason tour.
