Collinsville man struck, killed while lying on U.S. 169

A Collinsville man was run over and killed early Monday while lying on a highway, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
James Allman, 21, was hit about 2:10 a.m. after he left his vehicle in the northbound shoulder of U.S. 169 about half a mile north of 56th Street North, walked across the center median and lay down in the left lane of the southbound side, troopers said.
An unknown vehicle hit him and left, the OHP reported. He was dead at the scene.
