More charges filed in attack on Tulsa minister

Prosecutors have charged three additional defendants who are suspected of participating in an apparent armed robbery and targeted attack on a Tulsa minister.
Terell Lajuan Cooper, Joeiune Deonte Nelson and Markedrik Delmar Wilson were charged Tuesday with armed robbery and first-degree burglary, Tulsa County District Court records show.
Cedric Ramon Wilson, 25, and Rondale Dewayne Boyd, 20, were charged Monday with the same felony counts.
Rondale Boyd, whom police believe to be the gunman, also is charged with shooting with an intent to kill.
The Rev. Kenneth Brooks was shot in the chest July 31 after five masked men burst into his home in the 2700 block of North Denver Avenue, according to arrest reports.
Brooks is the former pastor of City of Refuge International Ministries, 1023 N. Utica Ave., and the current owner of the Hands of Glory restaurant, 2616 N. Cincinnati Ave.
Cooper, 27, was apprehended within hours of the shooting but initially was arrested on complaints stemming from a separate crime.
Complaints related to the attack on Brooks were added Monday.
Nelson, 21, and Markedrik Wilson, 26, were arrested within 24 hours of the shooting on armed robbery and other felony complaints.
All of the men have lengthy criminal histories, records show.
Arrest warrants have been issued for Boyd and Cedric Wilson.
Boyd is described as black and 6 feet 2 inches tall. Cedric Wilson is described as black, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 240 pounds. He’s also known as “Mon” and “57 Mone.” Both men have black hair and brown eyes.
