For the first time since the 1983-84 season, Jenks athletics did not win a single state championship this past season.
The Trojans have amassed more trophies than any program in the state, with 145 championships. Edmond Memorial, which won titles this past season in girls cross country and boys track and field, has 85 and Bishop Kelley, with titles this season in volleyball, boys golf and girls soccer, has 82.
Before the 1983-84 season, Jenks had won four titles. That translates to 141 titles during its streak of 26 years with at least one title.
