A group of local business leaders will roll out a "future vision for the greater Tulsa region" at a 1 p.m. press conference Thursday at the BOK Center.
The Citizens for a Better Tulsa proposal is also scheduled to be presented to Tulsa County commissioners at a Thursday morning meeting where "countywide infrastructure and economic development needs" are scheduled to be discussed.
For months officials have been talking about a possible tax package for Tulsa International Airport industrial complex improvements and business incentives.
Ideas that have been floated to fund a package include pursuing an extension of the Tulsa Vision 2025, which could include other projects.
To get a tax extension package on the Nov. 6 general election ballot, the ballot language must be delivered to local election officials no later than Aug. 22.
