Basketball: Cherokee Nation to host Shock practice

The Tulsa Shock plans to hold a practice at a Cherokee Nation venue. The workout is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Sequoyah High School in Tahlequah. Coach Gary Kloppenburg will lead his players in shooting and passing drills and work on offensive and defensive schemes. The practice is to prepare for the Aug. 17 game with the San Antonio Silver Stars at the BOK Center in Tulsa.
