Letter to the Editor: Romney's trip

In a recent letter ("Foot-in-mouth disease," Aug. 3), Shirley Thompson said that Mitt Romney had riled up Israel and some other nations on his trip. She did not say that the leader of Israel gave Romney a very warm welcome and that one of Poland's leaders, Lech Walesa, who helped to bring down communism, said that he would like to see Romney succeed.
The groups that Romney riled up the most were Israel and American enemies.
