OSU basketball team wins opener of Spain trip, 95-72

BARCELONA, Spain — Le'Bryan Nash and Markel Brown scored 18 points apiece to lead Oklahoma State to a 95-72 against Barcelona Select on Friday in the opener of its four-game exhibition tour in Spain.
The Cowboys trailed 30-20 after the first quarter but rallied back by outscoring the Catalonians 28-10 in the second period.
Oklahoma State shot 51 percent and made nine 3-pointers in the game.
Freshman Marcus Smart, a McDonald's All-American, added 12 points in his first game action with the Cowboys. Nash and freshman Kamari Murphy had a team-high 10 rebounds.
Oklahoma State's next game on the trip will be played Sunday, also in Barcelona.
