Suspicious suitcase prompts evacuation in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY — Authorities have evacuated the IRS building in downtown Oklahoma City after a suspicious package was discovered outside.

Police said a suitcase was left unattended near a mailbox at 55 N. Robinson Ave. The building also houses the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Authorities have blocked off streets, evacuated workers and closed a nearby parking garage as a bomb squad examines the suitcase
