Oklahoma State University welcomes new class of freshmen

STILLWATER — Within 24 hours of setting foot on campus at Oklahoma State University, Amanda Agpar was a Cowboys season ticket holder.
Agpar, 18, moved into OSU's Parker Hall on Sunday. Since then, she's been finding her way around campus, getting acquainted with her roommate, and, of course, picking up her student football tickets.
Agpar is one of thousands of incoming freshmen the university is receiving this week. A Putnam City High School graduate, she plans to major in sports media. She was drawn to OSU because of its strong sports media program. She also likes the campus, she said.
Even though she's confident about her choice of school, she is nervous about the adjustment, she said.
