Arrest made in Jesus House fires in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY - Investigators have made an arrest in connection with fires that broke out inside a Jesus House warehouse that stocked items for the poor.
Arson investigators assisted by the Oklahoma City Police Department Thursday afternoon arrested Kelly Chadrick, 35, fire officials said. He was taken to Oklahoma County jail on an arson complaint, a jail official said.
Chadrick is affiliated with Jesus House but is not an employee, volunteer or participant in the shelter program, said Rick Denny, executive director of the emergency shelter and soup kitchen. Denny declined to say how Chadrick is connected to the organization, citing an ongoing investigation into the incident.
The fires that broke out just before 9 p.m. Tuesday inside the Jesus House warehouse, 1401 W Sheridan Ave., ruined food and clothing the organization had on hand to help low-income families, Denny said. The organization also lost furniture meant to help the poor.
