OKLAHOMA CITY - Law officers swept through an apartment complex on the city's northeast side Thursday, netting at least eight arrests.

About 75 Oklahoma City police, FBI agents and Oklahoma City Housing Authority employees were serving warrants and checking for people living in the complex whose names weren't on leases at the Sooner Haven apartments, 3636 N Lottie Ave., Oklahoma City police Capt. Dexter Nelson said.

At least eight people had been arrested by 7:30 p.m., but more arrests are anticipated, he said. No names were released Thursday.

“Our main objective is to make sure the people that are here are the ones who live here and not people that have come in to cause havoc and create crime in the complex,” Nelson said.
