The University of Tulsa basketball team blitzed Seneca College with a 24-2, third-quarter run and went on to prevail 105-61 during a Friday night exhibition in Toronto.
The Golden Hurricane led by as many as 50 points - 79-29 late in the third period - before improving to 3-0 in Canadian exhibitions. TU defeated Brock University 90-44 on Wednesday and Ryerson University 79-55 on Thursday. Tulsa's Canadian tour concludes with another game at the Seneca College fieldhouse - a Saturday noon contest against an A-Game Hoops squad.
Against Seneca College, Hurricane freshman forward D'Andre Wright scored 14 points. Junior guard Pat Swilling Jr. converted on three 3-point shots in a 13-point performance. Senior guard Scottie Haralson was 4-of-4 on 3-pointers and finished with 12 points. James Woodard, a freshman from Edmond Memorial, also scored 12.
Starting at point guard for new TU coach Danny Manning was freshman Rashad Ray, whose stat line included 11 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. TU shot 53 percent from the field and had a 61-34 advantage in rebounds.
