Will the SEC make it seven in a row?
College football's most dominant conference will have its share of contenders once again. But with a solid USC thrown into the mix, keep an eye on the Trojans to try to break the SEC stranglehold.
Conference changes coming to fruition
It'll be different for fans to grasp the loss of traditional matchups like Texas-Texas A&M and Kansas-Missouri. It also could be an eye-opening experience for all four schools in their new settings.
Less traditional coaching hires
Kansas welcomed Charlie Weis to try to rebuild its program. Urban Meyer found a new home at Ohio State while Rich Rodriguez took over at Arizona. His former defensive coordinator at West Virginia (and ex-TU coach) Todd Graham is at Arizona State. And don't forget Mike Leach at Washington State and Jim Mora Jr. at UCLA.
