Promotions: Thirsty Thursday: 12-ounce servings of Miller Lite and Coors Light, and 16-ounce Pepsi servings will be on sale for $1. Autographed baseballs: The first 1,000 fans through the Oil Derrick or Arvest entrance will receive a baseball autographed by a Drillers player. Pink jerseys: Drillers players and coaches will wear special pink jerseys tonight. Select jerseys will be auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Big leaguers Giambi, Tulowitzki coming to Tulsa: The Colorado Rockies announced on Wednesday that Troy Tulowitzki and Jason Giambi will join the Drillers on injury rehabilitation assignments in time for Friday's game and will remain in Tulsa through the current homestand, which ends Monday. Tulowitzki has not played in a game since May 30 and is recovering from groin surgery. Giambi is rehabbing after being diagnosed with a viral infection in July.
The best outs are strikeouts: The final seven outs recorded by Tulsa on Wednesday night were strikeouts.
