STILLWATER — Oklahoma State University wide receiver Tracy Moore was arrested by Stillwater police Friday night on an allegation that he provided alcohol to a minor.
Moore, 21, is accused of providing the alcohol outside Brown’s Bottle Shop in Stillwater.
After he spoke with the woman, who is younger than 21, he entered the store, Stillwater Police Capt. Randy Dickerson said Wednesday. When he came back outside, an alcohol enforcement officer saw him give the alcohol to the minor, Dickerson said.
Moore was taken to the Stillwater Jail, where he was cited on a municipal complaint and then released, records show.
He was assessed a $549 fine in connection with Friday’s arrest. The minor also received a citation and a $149 fine, Dickerson said. Three other women who accompanied her were not cited.
Dickerson noted that this citation marks Moore’s third encounter with Stillwater law enforcement officers. He was arrested March 24 on a public intoxication complaint and paid a $149 fine plus costs.
He received a citation for outraging public decency on June 3, the same night fellow receiver Justin Blackmon was arrested on a complaint of driving under the influence. In that case, officers reportedly saw Moore urinating in an alley near The Strip just off campus on Washington Street. He paid a $249 fine.
Moore has not faced any charges in district court.
OSU media relations spokesman Gavin Lang offered no comment on Moore’s latest legal issues.
