Why should the middle class pay a higher percentage of taxes than the rich like Mitt Romney, whose disclosed 2010 taxes showed he paid only 14 percent?
Fourteen percent on reported (not on unreported Cayman Island dodges) income of $21.7 million, which is more than 400 times the income of the median American family.
President Obama paid a rate of 26 percent the same year, and our family paid 18 percent on income of a teacher.
Now this 13 percent to 14 percent of reported (not hidden) income is based on what Romney has disclosed ... so what is in those last 10 years of returns he refuses to disclose? It can't be favorable to Romney.
