STILLWATER – Oklahoma State wideout Tracy Moore is not dressed for the season opener against Savannah State, a team spokesman said Saturday afternoon.
Moore, a senior who is the Cowboys’ No. 1 receiver, was arrested Aug. 24 outside a Stillwater liquor store on a complaint of providing alcohol to a minor.
The incident was Moore’s third run-in with the law in the past six months. He was cited for outraging public decency in June after officers reported he urinated in an alley near The Strip.
In March, Moore was arrested on a complaint of public intoxication.
The Tulsa World’s All-Metro Player of the Year at Union High School in 2008, Moore ranks 21st all-time at OSU with 1,067 career receiving yards.
Last season, he had 45 catches for 672 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
With Moore out, Isaiah Anderson and Charlie Moore likely will start when the game kicks off at 6 p.m.
