The matchup: Both teams lost their state title games by one point last season. Broken Arrow opened 2012 with a 19-17 win over Owasso while Bentonville defeated Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst 24-7. Bentonville, which has won two state titles in the past four years, edged Union 17-15 in the preseason Gridiron Classic.
