A man suffered a gunshot wound to the leg early Thursday after four rounds were fired at the front door of a Tulsa residence.
Justin Ward, 32, was struck once in his left thigh around 1:45 a.m., police said.
Ward and a woman in the home told officers that a woman knocked on their door in the 1800 block of West Easton Court and asked for help with her car. After the woman inside the home refused, two men began to bang on the front and back doors, said Cpl. Brandon Disney.
One of the assailants then opened fire on the home, Disney said, and a bullet passed through the front door, striking Ward. A 5-year-old boy inside was not injured.
Disney said the residents were not cooperative in providing suspect information to police.
Ward's injury was not considered life-threatening.
