The House Beautiful show starts at noon Friday and runs through Sunday at the QuikTrip Center, 4145 E. 21st St.

The event is one that will make you fall in love with your home again, show manager Nicole Thomas said.

Vendors will be showcasing windows, doors, energy-efficient appliances, the latest in interior paints, home décor items and gardening features. And there is something for the whole family throughout the three-day event.

Seniors are honored all day Friday when adults 65 years and older pay a discounted admission of $6 and can peruse products and services specifically marketed to seniors. Seating areas and free coffee will be available along with the Senior Info Fair that includes such nonprofit agencies as American Red Cross, Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Life Senior Services, TSHA - Total Source for Hearing-loss and Access, and Tulsa County Health Department.

Family day is Saturday when there will be plenty to do for the children. In addition to the regular pet park display a local humane society will have, there will be other activities including balloon art, DIY projects, a safety session presented by Home Depot, and fitness and entertainment areas.

The last day of House Beautiful, everything is going pink. All event guests are encouraged to wear pink on Sunday when House Beautiful recognizes women, children and families affected by cancer. Those who wear pink will receive a discounted admission ticket to the event, and charities supporting Turn Tulsa Pink will be on display that day in addition to pink vehicles from various agencies.

A playhouse will also be showcased for guests to sign in memory of someone they have lost to cancer or to honor a cancer survivor. The playhouse will be painted pink and donated to a Tulsa leukemia patient.

"There is literally something for everyone," Thomas said. In addition to the information and ideas in store for guests, the event gives people the opportunity to focus on home. Due to the economy, "a lot of people are making do with what they have and beautifying what they have."
