FIRST QUARTER
Oklahoma State 14 – 14
Arizona 10 – 10

Key play: On OSU’s first drive, Wes Lunt threw for his first touchdown – a 9-yard strike that occurred less than two minutes into the game.

Key stat: 2. Tracy Moore scored two first-quarter touchdowns in his first action since last season. He did not play in the season opener against Savannah State after being arrested on a complaint of providing alcohol to a minor.

Number to know: 70. The Cowboys were penalized six times for 70 yards, including two personal-foul penalties by defensive tackle Calvin Barnett on the same play. The 30-yard gain by the Wildcats set up their first touchdown.


SECOND QUARTER

Arizona 10 13 -- 23

Key play: Backup quarterback J.W. Walsh entered on fourth-and-1 as part of a short-yardage package. He failed to pick up the first drive and the Cowboys failed to score for a fourth straight possession. Their opponent continued to hold all momentum.

Key stat: 4. Meanwhile, Arizona scored on four straight drives after coming up empty-handed on its first two.

Number to know: 20. The Wildcats picked up 20 first downs in the first half, compared to 10 by OSU.


THIRD QUARTER

Key play:OSU’s third drive of the third quarter began with a 42-yard bomb from Lunt to Josh Stewart. If not for a dropped pass in the end zone by Blake Jackson, the Cowboys would have scored a third TD in the period.

Key stat: 224. A fruitful quarter of 224 offensive yards nearly doubled OSU’s total, giving the team 445 yards for the game.

Number to know: 7. Arizona was 7-of-7 on its red-zone scoring opportunities, including four touchdowns.


FOURTH QUARTER

Arizona 10 13 14 22 -- 59

Key play:After OSU got within 37-31 and the defense forced a punt, Lunt was blitzed on third-and-12, prompting him to make a bad pass that was intercepted by Jonathan McKnight and returned for 48 yards.

Key stat: 10. The Cowboys’ streak of consecutive nonconference victories ended at 10.

Number to know: 1,137. The teams combined to accumulate 1,137 yards of offense, including 636 from OSU.
